Preparation Steps

Start by cutting the butter and dark chocolate into pieces. Melt them in a double boiler.

In a bowl, beat the eggs with sugar to get a fluffy mixture. Incorporate the flour and mix again with an electric whisk.

Pour in the melted chocolate/butter mixture, then mix to have a homogeneous batter. Keep cool for 30 minutes or until the moment of serving the lava cakes.

Preheat your oven to 200°C.

Pour the batter into previously greased muffin molds. Bake in the oven for 8 minutes.

Let the lava cakes cool for a few minutes, then serve immediately while the centers are still molten.

(Optional) Add powdered sugar and home made raspberry jam to serve.
