Fudgy Brownies

A rich and fudgy dark chocolate brownie

Ingredients

  • 250g dark chocolate (70%)
  • 250g butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 200g granulated sugar
  • 70g flour

Utensils

  • Silicone cake pan (24 cm diameter)
  • Mixing bowls
  • Electric whisk
  • Spatula
  • Double boiler or microwave-safe bowl
  • Oven

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.

  2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together either in a double boiler or in the microwave. Stir until smooth and combined.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the whole eggs with the sugar until the mixture whitens and triples in volume.

  4. Gently fold the chocolate and butter mixture into the eggs and sugar using a spatula.

  5. Sift the flour over the mixture and carefully fold it in, scraping the bottom and sides of the bowl well.

  6. Pour the batter into a 24cm diameter silicone cake pan.

  7. Bake for 25 minutes until cooked but still fudgy inside.
